Apps that I use or plan to use in the future
Story Wheel - fantastic app for allowing students to begin the creative process of writing a story without feeling encumbered by their writing skills
Book Creator - Allows students to create a pdf book of their understanding using pictures, audio as well as text.
Puppet Pals - Allows students to explain their understanding through using multiple characters in the story.
Show Me - Learn or teach anything. Students provide a voice-over as they draw on the interactive whiteboard to explain any concept that is being done in class.
Google Drive / Dropbox - I plan to use either of these apps to upload student work as evidence of learning as well as allowing parents to monitor progress on a regular basis.
iThoughtsHD - A brainstorming tool that allows visual thinkers to plot out their understanding (i use this for my own personal learning as well)
