Grade 2 Sowers

In November of 2012, I began a nine-week practicum teaching a grade 2 class at École Edwards in Airdrie Alberta.  I began teaching a Science Unit on Hot and Cold and then progressed to teach a Social Studies unit comparing the communities of Airdrie and Saskatoon.  The practicum progressed to the point where I was teaching 100% of the time.  I loved my time teaching in Grade 2 and I learned a lot about Classroom management, Assessment, and Differentiation.
