International Internship

After graduating this Spring, I was able to participate in an international internship by travelling to Nyahururu, Kenya.  This was a phenomenal experience that deepened my understanding of successful direct instruction.  I loved partnering with the teachers and teaming up with them to insure that the students were having their needs met.  This team approach was inspiring and allowed me to see the strength of differing perspectives on education.
